Thornage and Little Thornage are neighbouring villages located in the Glaven Valley, one of the most attractive areas of rural North Norfolk. The area is ideal for walking and cycling and just a ten-minute drive from the coastal villages of Blakeney and Cley. Cley Marshes is recognised as one of the UK's premier bird-watching sites. The Georgian town of Holt is just two miles away and offers good quality shops, art galleries and eating places and Holt Country Park, where you can enjoy waymarked walks and nature trails. The original cottages have been carefully restored and are linked at ground floor level by an opening between the sitting and dining rooms. The pretty bedrooms, served by separate staircases at each end of the property, retain the original layout. A lane leads from the cottage to the ford and footbridge over the beautiful River Glaven.
